I had the opportunity to photograph the band, Starving the Tsunami a short while ago. Starving the Tsunami is a Rock band out of South Philadelphia, check out their website and the music on their website right here.
We made the most of a rainy day and crashed an abandoned barn (with permission, of course) and as the sun began to peer out from behind the clouds later in the evening took advantage of some great light to capture some photographs that the guys loved.
Check out a few of the images we captured that day below.

I photographed the guys who run the Marsten House Recording Studio, just outside of Philadelphia in Abington, PA. These guys are great and have built their own studio from the ground up. Very impressive work and a great studio and group of guys; glad to photograph them!
Check out a few of the images from that day.

Well not Paris, as in Paris THE CITY! Paris, France? Nope, nadda. This is a Paris who is a musician, and a really great one at that. He contacted me about getting some photos for his web presence as well as looking for album material (cover and insert material).
We had a few cool ideas to take into our studio shoot, there were a couple guitar shots we were looking to get as well as a happy middle ground between photos that were not all light and fluffy stuff, but also were not crazy, rocker dark and contrasting.
Check out a few of the shots we got that day!

Several years ago I drove past this amazing old vehicle and train graveyard several times and had been dying to shoot there ever since. When country musician and all around great dude, Eric Zoeckler, approached me about photographing him for personal promotion material as well as photos for a press kit, I knew this location would be perfect.
It was blistering hot on the day of the shoot and incredibly sunny. We shot quite a bit and tried to move in and out of shady spots quickly to keep from over heating and sweating uncontrollably (Not such flattering photographs, typically). All things considered we moved quickly and got some really great photographs!
Check out a couple of the other photos we got that day!

When the Social Misfits contacted me they were interested in some very basic group photographs that they could use to promote themselves to clubs, events, and agent types to land more gigs and present themselves in a sharp and assertive way. They tabbed me to shoot the images.
As you may well know, I do most of my shooting on location. I love the originality and spaciousness of a location shoot. While the obvious down-side is the travel and logistical side of the shoot, the images produced on a location shoot are always unique and well worth the extra effort (and oftentimes struggle with weather and bugs, etc…)
Check out some of the images from that day.
